Treeforms goes all-in on Midtown

Treeforms Furniture Gallery is consolidating operations in Anchorage after its parent company’s purchase of a 102,000-square-foot Midtown building.

Midtown just picked up a heavyweight.

Treeforms is shutting down its Wasilla shop and rolling everything into a massive Midtown building that just changed hands. The new owner grabbed a 102-thousand-square-foot property, and Treeforms is taking full advantage of the space.

They’re keeping the Anchorage showroom alive while anchoring it with Nordic Spaces, a newer brand they opened right next door. It’s a big consolidation move, and it plants the whole operation right in the middle of Anchorage’s busiest retail corridor.

For Midtown, this means one less empty big-box space and a stronger cluster of home-design shops pulling traffic off Benson and A Street. And for Valley shoppers, it’s one more reason to make the drive south instead of waiting for another Wasilla option to appear.

Feels like Midtown’s getting its edge back.
