but the Palmer stage didn't stay empty for long.

The Beach Boys postponed their summer dates, so the Alaska State Fair went out and booked B T O instead. That's the band behind Takin' Care of Business and You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet.

They play the Borealis Theatre at seven o'clock on August thirty-first. Tickets for everybody opened at ten this morning.

There are two ways to buy in. You can grab a concert only ticket, or you can get one that folds in fair admission. If you want that bundle, it has to be bought by August twentieth. After that, it's concert only.

For a band that's moved over forty million records since nineteen seventy-one, that's a real get for a fairground stage in the Valley.

And honestly, this is our version of a stadium show. Same parking lot we've all circled a hundred times, same corn dog line, except this time there's a band on the other end of it.
