Ziggy Marley is playing the Alaska State Fair this summer.

The fair announced this week that Ziggy is hitting the Borealis Theatre stage on August twenty-third at six o'clock.

That makes him the thirteenth act in the twenty twenty-six ConocoPhillips concert series so far. The lineup just keeps stacking.

If you don't know the name, Ziggy is the son of Bob and Rita Marley, and he's been touring for almost four decades. He's got nine Grammys and just put out his ninth solo album in April.

For anyone who's been to a show at the fair, you already know the vibe. Lawn seats, food truck dinner, a Palmer sunset, and the music carrying across the fairgrounds.

This is one of those years where the lineup actually feels worth the drive from Anchorage, Fairbanks, or anywhere on the Kenai. Reggae at the State Fair is just a different kind of summer night.

People from all over Alaska will roll into Palmer for this one. It's already that kind of headliner.
