Fairbanks just opened up brand new land for sale.

This is land along the Chatanika River, about 38 miles north of town. The lots range from just over 2 acres up to almost 18 acres each.

They sit in white spruce and mixed forest country and are zoned for non commercial use. So think cabins, weekend lots, family land. The borough is calling this a brand new rural recreation zone.

There are three ways to grab a parcel. The new piece is a lottery where 25 bucks gets you a ticket on any lot you want. You can buy as many tickets as you want, but you only win one parcel total.
