and she's bringing rock and roll royalty with her.

Kelly Moneymaker grew up right here in Fairbanks before her voice took her around the world. She sang in a platinum selling vocal group that climbed the Billboard charts, and she's recorded with names like Ringo Starr, Diana Ross, and Meat Loaf.

Her songs have landed in shows we all know. Grey's Anatomy, CSI, Hawaii Five O, even Cobra Kai. Her newest singles have pulled in over a million streams, and this year she was named best female vocalist at an awards show in Los Angeles.

Now she's coming home, four shows in four days at the end of August. It starts Friday the 28th on Riverside Drive in Fairbanks, then Bernie's Bungalow in Anchorage on Saturday night. Sunday and Monday she's at the Alaska State Fair in Palmer, first a full show Sunday night, then a special appearance at the Native Voices Film Festival.

Her touring band alone is worth the trip. Her drummer has played with Tower of Power, and her bass player is a fellow Alaskan who's toured with Kenny Loggins. That's the kind of lineup that usually skips Alaska entirely.

She says no matter where the music took her, Alaska was always home. Dates and tickets are in the description below.
