El Green-Go is opening a second location in East Anchorage, moving into a renovated old bank building at Northern Lights and Boniface. The spot gives them a full brick-and-mortar home while keeping the original downtown food truck running for summer crowds. That means more seating, more consistent hours, and less weather roulette for tacos.
The building itself just went through a full renovation, turning a quiet corner into something people will actually stop at. For East Anchorage, that stretch of Northern Lights gets another reason to slow down instead of just driving through. For downtown fans, the truck stays put when tourists flood the streets.
It’s a smart expansion without abandoning what made them popular in the first place. Food trucks growing up without disappearing is always a good sign.
