Here's the part your neighbors will care about. In single-family areas, the height limits would stay exactly the same, so nobody's tower is going up next door and taking your sunlight. That was the big complaint last time around, and this time they listened.

This is a redo of a plan that got paused last fall after a lot of pushback. This version comes with a longer timeline and a lot more room for public comment.

We need housing that regular working folks can actually afford, and rents around here keep climbing. The Assembly plans to vote on this in September, so there's real time to weigh in before anything gets decided.
