Anchorage prices won’t budge

Anchorage buyers still don’t have the upper hand.

Homes here are selling fast, with an average of just 23 days on the market. The median price hit $420,000 in November, up again from last year. Most listings are pulling about three offers, which keeps pressure on anyone trying to wait things out.

Rates haven’t scared buyers off, and inventory still feels tight across Anchorage neighborhoods. Sellers aren’t slashing prices, and buyers aren’t backing away.
